An Evening to Celebrate VideoOut

May 29, 2019 | 6:30 pm | 60 White Street, Resident’s Lounge, New York, NY 10013

For three years, VideoOut has traveled the country -- including a bus tour through the Heartland -- to collect hundreds of personal stories from the LGBTQ+ community. Whether detailing a coming out moment or expressing a fear or dream, their experiences reveal pieces of our shared humanity. As a nonprofit, VideoOut amplifies the voices of LGBTQ+ people and wields their stories as empathic tools for advocacy, awareness, and education. We focus on the places where LGBTQ+ folks are most at risk and we engage community stakeholders and local and national organizations to ensure equality is extended to every LGBTQ+ person.

You are Invited to VideoOut’s 2019 Fundraiser

Attendees

You’ll be joining an incredible group from NYC’s LGBTQ+ community, people who believe in the power of stories to affect change. You’ll meet social justice practitioners, entrepreneurs, and storytellers as well as philanthropists, business owners, and stakeholders with the ability to help scale VideoOut’s impact.

The Evening

Cocktails are served at 6:30 pm. Plant-based refreshments will be served throughout the evening.

There will be plenty of time to mingle, enjoy the drinks and nibbles, and buy tickets for all the raffle items. Also, make sure your glass is filled as we toast the stories of LGBTQ+ folks past, present, and future. And don’t leave too soon as you will miss three incredible performances:

Stephane Duret shared his story with VideoOut in 2017. He was recently in the Broadway run of the show that empowered countless LGBTQ people around the world, Kinky Boots.

The Space

From the cast iron elements of 1869 to today's energy efficient materials, 60 White Street has always been at the forefront of embracing innovation while respecting tradition - then and now. Thanks to the generosity of host committee member, Veronica Mainetti, we’ll be celebrating VideoOut on the gorgeous rooftop with breathtaking views of the World Trade Center and in the city’s most exclusive lounge deep in the heart of the historic building. We can’t wait to enjoy your company in a one-of-a-kind space with truly one-of-a-kind people.

VIPs will join the VideoOut team early, at 6 pm, for an intimate cocktail reception on one of NYC’s most beautiful outdoor terraces. Then, everyone will celebrate together in the magical lounge in the heart of 60 White Street.
